Stop Bullying Now
This tri-fold brochure was created for the purpose of bringing awareness to bullying. Bullying is such a huge issue
in the United States today, especially because it seems like the country is only becoming more divisive. From being
teased because of your skin color, the people you choose to love, or just the clothes you wear, bullying takes place
no matter the age range or setting. I made this brochure in hopes of informing the public how they
can make a difference, one warning sign at a time.
Side one, the sign that is shown to the left, is the outside of the brochure. The third panel labeled "STOP BULLYING" is the front of the brochure and catches readers' attention with the red coloring and black and white image of a little boy crying. The middle panel is the back of the brochure and what readers will see last, which includes the number for the suicide hotline and a website where they can learn more information on bullying and ways they can help. The first panel, which is what readers will see when they first open the brochure, includes another black and white graphic image of a sad woman with a statement that further implies that bullying is a serious issue.
The inside of the brochure (click image to see) includes the subheadings "How can I tell?" "How serious is it?" and "How can I help?" These subheadings are written in red to grab the attention of readers. Bullet points and statements are written under each subheading that gives statistics, signs, and suggestions on how to help fight bullying. Finally, a quote is included on the left inside panel that shines a light on how bullying does nothing positive for anyone.
